VSRecruit was built from real experience—not theory.
Evan Colon, a quarterback at St. Mary's High School, started his recruiting journey like thousands of other athletes: motivated, talented, and determined—but quickly overwhelmed. The process of getting recruited wasn't just about playing well. It meant emailing coaches, building exposure, managing social media, tracking camps, following up consistently, and trying to stand out in a crowded field.
Doing all of that alone? It was tedious, time-consuming, and inefficient.
So Evan decided to solve the problem.
Using his own Gmail account as the foundation, he created a streamlined system to reach out to college coaches more effectively. What started as a personal solution quickly evolved into something much bigger—a complete recruiting toolkit designed specifically for athletes.
VSRecruit helps student-athletes do more than get recruited — we help them get in, get funded, and get ready. From emailing college coaches directly, to finding scholarships that fit, to mastering the built-in SAT/ACT calculator, VSRecruit puts the whole path in one place. We built it especially with D2 and D3 athletes in mind, where academics and outside scholarships make the biggest difference.
