Jeff Skinner
Coach
Football
"I think this platform is a great tool for young players to efficiently connect to colleges they aspire to play at, without the promises of deals attached to some other services." Jeff is a former Division I (FCS) quarterback, professional football player, and accomplished quarterback coach with more than 20 years of playing and coaching experience developing athletes from youth football through the collegiate level. Jeff starred at St. Peter's Prep (NJ), where he led the Marauders as the starting quarterback for the No. 1 team in New Jersey and the No. 6 team nationally. He helped guide St. Peter's to an undefeated season and a state championship victory over nationally ranked Bergen Catholic, finishing his varsity career with only two losses as a starting quarterback. He continued his career at Wagner College (NCAA Division I FCS), becoming the program's first non-FBS transfer to earn the starting quarterback role in seven years. As a two-year starter, Jeff set school single-season records for total offense, engineered three fourth-quarter comeback victories during his senior season, and earned Team MVP honors in 1998 while leading one of the program's most competitive teams. After college, Jeff played professionally in Europe and earned opportunities with both the AFL and CFL before transitioning into coaching. Today, Jeff is recognized as one of North Jersey's respected quarterback developers. He has coached with ASG-Metro, Bergen Stars, and ICON Football, co-founded the Top Stars 7v7 program, and has served in youth football leadership roles while training quarterbacks, skill players, and developing football IQ, leadership, mechanics, and decision-making.
